Volleyball Recap: The Kehillah School Finds Home Court Redemption Against KIPP Esperanza

There's no place like home for The Kehillah School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the KIPP Esperanza Eagles 3-0 on Monday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The Kehillah School was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-12.

The Kehillah School found their leader in freshman Kishi Towfiq, who had 14 aces, six digs, and five kills. Towfiq has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played. Talia Alvidrez was another key player, getting seven aces and seven assists.

The win got The Kehillah School back to even at 3-3. As for KIPP Esperanza, their loss dropped their record down to 2-3.

The Kehillah School has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Summit Preparatory on the 16th. As for KIPP Esperanza, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on the 16th.
