Football Recap: Lincoln Park Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

Lincoln Park dropped to 5-4 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They came up short against the Trenton Trojans, falling 49-26. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Railsplitters couldn't quite close it out.

As for Trenton, they now have a winning record of 5-4. Considering they have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trenton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Hawkins led the charge by rushing for 162 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Hawkins is becoming a predictor of the Trojans' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Saches, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

Lincoln Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-8 defeat against Carlson on the 31st. As for Trenton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-22 win against Thurston on the 1st.
