Football Game Preview: Leyton Warriors vs. Creek Valley Storm

The Leyton Warriors will head out to challenge the Creek Valley Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leyton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Creek Valley likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Leyton humbled Potter-Dix with a 43-12 victory. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now won three in a row.

Leyton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Austin Beutler and Alec Watchorn. With that strong performance, Watchorn is now averaging an impressive 114.7 rushing yards per game.

Creek Valley played against Banner County on Friday and won via forfeit.

The win got Creek Valley back to even at 2-2. As for Leyton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Leyton against Creek Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 65-18 win. In that game, the Warriors amassed a halftime lead of 51-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
