The DaVinci Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Fredericksburg Billies at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. DaVinci is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
DaVinci is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Poteet, posting an 88-15 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DaVinci to victory, but perhaps none more so than RYAN HAYES, who shot 62% from the field to rack up 20 points and six steals. The matchup was HAYES' third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was CARSTEN RODRIQEZ, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 19 points and four steals.
Meanwhile, Fredericksburg strolled past John F. Kennedy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-34.
Fredericksburg's win came from a few key players DaVinci will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Greene, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Hale, who posted 11 points.
Fredericksburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests dating back to last season.
DaVinci's record now sits at 6-0. As for Fredericksburg, their record is now 4-0.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. DaVinci hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 60 points per game. However, it's not like Fredericksburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 56.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
