Palatine has gone a perfect 5-0 against Elk Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates are taking a road trip to face off against the Grenadiers at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Palatine came up short against Barrington and fell 2-0. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Palatine was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They came out on top against Streamwood by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Elk Grove was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11.

Palatine's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Elk Grove, their win bumped their record up to 15-16.

Palatine was able to grind out a solid victory over Elk Grove in their previous meeting last Thursday, winning 2-0. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grenadiers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
