Soccer Recap: West Mesquite Takes a Loss

West Mesquite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Adams Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in January.

West Mesquite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Adams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Mesquite will head out to face off against Spruce at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. West Mesquite is facing Spruce at the right time seeing as Spruce is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Adams, they are taking a road trip to square off against Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
