Basketball Recap: Colorado School for the Deaf Blind Takes a Loss

Colorado School for the Deaf Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 65-17 loss at the hands of the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers. The Bulldogs were down 56-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Dylan Reyes had an outrageously good game for Cripple Creek-Victor as he dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, Reyes is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Chase Lohmeier was another key player, putting up seven points along with six steals and three blocks.

Colorado School for the Deaf Blind's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colorado School for the Deaf Blind has already played their next match (against Hanover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cripple Creek-Victor will venture away from home to face off against Deer Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cripple Creek-Victor is facing Deer Trail at the right time seeing as Deer Trail is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
