Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Credo). They took down the Elsie Allen Lobos 54-36 on Friday. The Gryphon have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lobos, too.

Credo was led to victory by Surya Carroll and Rune Busenitz. Carroll posted 18 points, while Busenitz had 15 points. Busenitz has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Tavio Delgado also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Credo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Elsie Allen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Credo will square off against Willits at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Gryphon their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Elsie Allen, they will face off against Petaluma at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
