Football Game Preview: Northview Vikings vs. Alta Loma Braves

Two dominant signal callers in Robert Lucero and Maximus Fierro are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Northview Vikings will be playing at home against the Alta Loma Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Northview against San Dimas as the squad secured a 42-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four games by 25 points or more so far this season.

Isaiah Lucero produced another solid performance picking up 164 receiving yards and three scores. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 83 yards. Dominic Munoz was in the mix as well, providing Northview with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Alta Loma earned a 33-20 victory over Diamond Ranch on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Panthers are ranked 527th).

Alta Loma found their leader in freshman Fierro, who threw for 183 yards and four TDs.

Alta Loma's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Northview, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Northview strolled past Alta Loma when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 22-7. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
