Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Knights vs. Monroe Hornets

The Northwest Knights will face off against the Monroe Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Northwest is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over Oyler.

Monroe not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 21st (when they won 62-24). Everything went their way against Madison as they made off with a 63-42 victory.

Northwest was able to grind out a solid win over Monroe when the teams last played back in January, winning 49-41. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
