Thurgood Marshall Academy strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the DC International Dragons by a score of 63-53. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

DC International lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gavin Moore, who went 8-for-20 to rack up 18 points along with six boards and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Vaughn Biddix, who shot 70% from the field en route to 15 points and six steals.

Thurgood Marshall Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for DC International, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Thurgood Marshall Academy will venture away from home to take on Capital City Public Charter School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for DC International, they will face off against Bowie at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
