Lakes International Language Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Twin Cities Academy/Great River.

Lakes International Language Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Twin Cities Academy/Great River, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

While Lakes International Language Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
