Hononegah is a perfect 10-0 against Freeport since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will host the Pretzels at 7:15 p.m.

Last Friday, Hononegah came up short against Guilford and fell 17-10. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed nine in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brady Jarvis, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freeport). Everything went their way against Rockford Auburn on Saturday as they made off with a 50-28 victory. With the Pretzels ahead 36-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Freeport pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points over those games. As for Hononegah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Hononegah against Freeport in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Pretzels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
