Basketball Recap: Keundre Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northeast over Bleckley County

Northeast was the 64-56 winner over Bleckley County when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Northeast Raiders took a 53-39 bruising from the Bleckley County Royals on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keundre Jackson, who posted eight points along with seven boards and four steals. Tavarus Tinsley Jr was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Bleckley County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Northeast will venture away from home to challenge Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bleckley County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-53 loss against East Laurens on the 11th.
