Football Recap: St. Paul Central Takes a Loss

St. Paul Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the Johnson Governors at home by a 26-8 margin. The Minutemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Governors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Paul Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Johnson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, St. Paul Central will square off against Minneapolis Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Johnson, they will welcome Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
