Soccer Game Preview: Village Christian vs. Windward

The Village Christian Crusaders will venture away from home to face off against the Windward Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Village Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Village Christian will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Bosco Tech on Saturday. Village Christian's defense stepped up to hand Bosco Tech a 5-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Bronson Moore as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Windward managed to keep up with Venice until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Windward lost 5-0 to Venice. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Village Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six contests. As for Windward, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
