Football Recap: Oswego Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oswego can now relate to. They were beaten by the Lincoln Leopards 62-34 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since November 8, 2024.

Owen Jackson threw for 80 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Tayton Hazell was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Jeremiah Miller produced another solid effort rushing for 200 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 192 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes for Lincoln. Miller is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Benjamin Bell also helped out as he racked up 134 rushing yards.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lincoln, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Oswego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will take on Ell-Saline on Friday. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
