Volleyball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Riverheads Gladiators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Riverheads' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Herndon led the charge by getting 13 digs and one assist.

Stonewall Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Riverheads, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Coming up, Stonewall Jackson will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Madison County at 7:15 p.m. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Generals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Riverheads, they will head out on the road to take on Fort Defiance at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
