Soccer Recap: St. Stephens Comes Up Short

St. Stephens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Watauga Pioneers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, St. Stephens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while Watauga are ranked 33rd).

St. Stephens' loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Watauga, they pushed their record up to 10-3-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
