Basketball Recap: South Gate Takes a Loss

South Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whittier Cardinals.

South Gate's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Whittier, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

South Gate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 99-23 defeat against Oakwood on the 19th. As for Whittier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 90-52 loss against Quartz Hill on the 19th.
