The Edna Karr Cougars fell to the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams 43-38. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Rams are ranked 173rd).

Edna Karr's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, they moved to 7-17 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
