Connor Wallace gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. He made a splash, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He was up against Holy Family Academy and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Wallace has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
