Basketball Recap: Southeast Career Tech Piles Up the Points Against Spring Mountain

While Southeast Career Tech didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 61-33 victory over the Spring Mountain Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roadrunners.

Southeast Career Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ricardo Rodriguez, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Worthy Manumaleuna, who earned ten points.

Southeast Career Tech's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Spring Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Southeast Career Tech will head out to challenge Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spring Mountain, they and Waterford will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
