Baseball Recap: Bethesda Christian Comes Up Short

Bethesda Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Mercy Culture Prep on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-1 to the Royals. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Bethesda Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Helm, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Bethesda Christian now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Mercy Culture Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-11-2 record this season.

Bethesda Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-3 win against Azle Christian on the 15th. As for Mercy Culture Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Harvest Christian Academy on the 15th.
