Recap: Triton Hawks vs. Overhills Jaguars

The Triton Hawks struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Overhills Jaguars had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Triton falling 59-44. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Overhills: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Triton still got an impressive performance from Romello Pegues, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Ahmad Morris, who scored five points along with six rebounds.

Overhills can attribute much of their success to Jordan Bryant, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Lalin, who scored ten points along with two steals.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Overhills, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Harnett Central the next time they take the court. Overhills will host Harnett Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Triton will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
