Passers beware: Ryan Rutherford came down with his first-ever interception on Thursday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also threw for zero yards , helping propel Fairview past Fossil Ridge by a score of 45-20. We hope Rutherford's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Rutherford and Fairview will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on October 31. Rutherford will face off against Bode Nesbitt, the Lobos' star receiver. It's not every day two stars like this collide on the field. So who leaves it the victor?
