Softball Recap: Farwell Takes a Loss

Farwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Standish-Sterling Panthers, falling 13-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Farwell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Standish-Sterling, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coming up, Farwell will head out on the road to take on Gladwin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Standish-Sterling, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Louis at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
