After a string of six wins, Calvary Baptist Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.

Aubrey Keeney paced Calvary Baptist Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Keeney were helped by Anna Starcher and Camden Hayslett, who contributed eight assists each. Starcher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Calvary Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
