Baseball Game Preview: Fallston Cougars vs. Rising Sun Tigers

For the second straight game, Fallston will face off against Rising Sun. The Cougars will take on the Tigers on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fallston has four straight wins, Rising Sun has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Fallston's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Rising Sun 11-0. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by nine runs or more this season.

Reese Conley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
