Football Recap: Shiloh's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shiloh can now relate to. The contest between the Generals and the Milton Eagles didn't end well, with the Generals falling 35-17. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Eagles are ranked eighth).

Despite the loss, Shiloh still got an impressive performance from Ryan Webster, who rushed for 201 yards and one TD while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Webster is now averaging an impressive 103.5 rushing yards per game.

Bentley Hickman had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 224 yards and three scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry for Milton. What's more, he's the matchup marked his fifth straight with at least 100. Ben Halevi was another key player, throwing for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 passes.

With the loss, Shiloh broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5. As for Milton, their record is now 8-3.

Shiloh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milton, they will face off against Jackson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight games.
