Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty Christian). They claimed a resounding 63-17 victory over the Trinity Christian Trojans. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Leading Liberty Christian to victory were Quinn Murphy and Correll Buckhalter. Murphy threw for 332 yards and five TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, while Buckhalter gained 157 total yards and three touchdowns. Murphy has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Graham Nixon, who picked up 106 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Although Trinity Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Campbell Laible and Jude Tredennick.

The victory got Liberty Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian will host West Plains at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 29 points per game this season.
