Southridge lost against Mountainside back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Skyhawks came up short against the Mavericks, falling 6-0. The result was nothing new for Southridge as the squad haven't won a game since September 22nd.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Mountainside, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-3 and their overall record up to 5-5-3.

Looking ahead, Southridge will head out to challenge Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Jesuit will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Southridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountainside, they will challenge Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mountainside will be up against Aloha's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.83 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
