Basketball Game Preview: Beebe Badgers vs. Searcy Lions

The Beebe Badgers will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Searcy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Beebe is leaving town to face Searcy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Badgers took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Batesville on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

Meanwhile, Searcy came up short against Westside on Saturday and fell 70-61.

Beebe didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Searcy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 44-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Badgers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
