Football Recap: Coxsackie-Athens Falls Despite Big Games from Rich Perino and Craig Farrell

Coxsackie-Athens lost against Hudson back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Riverhawks lost 34-12 to the Bluehawks. The Riverhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Coxsackie-Athens had strong showings from Craig Farrell, who rushed for 74 yards and one TD, and Rich Perino, who picked up 22 receiving yards and one score.

Coxsackie-Athens now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Coxsackie-Athens has already played their next contest, a 59-14 loss against Cobleskill-Richmondville on the 24th. As for Hudson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-32 defeat against Johnstown on the 24th.
