Bradford unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay Blue Devils on Tuesday. The Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kallie Yowell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Summer Sutton was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradford is headed away from home for the first time to square off against North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clay, they will square off against Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
