Volleyball Game Preview: Clover Hill Cavaliers vs. Godwin Eagles + Official Tickets

The Clover Hill Cavaliers will challenge the Godwin Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Godwin took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Clover Hill, who comes in off a win.

Clover Hill is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since September 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Monacan 3-2. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Godwin and Deep Run had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Tuesday.

Godwin's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10. As for Clover Hill, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Clover Hill might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Godwin when the teams last played back in August of 2017. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
