Football Recap: England Takes a Loss

England made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mayflower, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-0 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

England now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mayflower, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

England and Mayflower will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on Poyen at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Mayflower, their break will end when they face Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
