Preview: Southwest Wildcats vs. Hale Cardinals
The Southwest Wildcats will be playing at home against the Hale Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Back in December of 2023, Southwest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Gilman City. Southwest has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Will Hughes, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Grant Warren, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Hale came up short against Braymer on Tuesday and fell 63-51.
Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hale, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
