Soccer Recap: Whitnall Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitnall can now relate to. They fell just short of the Grafton Black Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Whitnall couldn't push the score so high this time.

Whitnall's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Grafton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Whitnall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grafton, they will square off against New Berlin West at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
