Moffat County falls despite strong effort from Bryant Carlson

The Moffat County Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 67-52 to Aspen. While losing is never fun, Moffat County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Aspen is ranked 38th).

When it comes to explaining why Moffat County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryant Carlson. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Champ hafey, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.

Moffat County has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Aspen, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
