Volleyball Game Preview: Bridgeport Bulldogs vs. Chase County Longhorns

Bridgeport hasn't had much luck against Chase County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Bridgeport turned things around against Mitchell on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Bridgeport's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Chase County made easy work of Perkins County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Chase County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-23.

Bridgeport's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Chase County, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
