Baseball Recap: Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Van Vleck, Victoria Cobra HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Wharton Tigers 5-4.

The team relied heavily on Cy F, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Victoria Cobra HomeSchool now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Wharton, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Victoria Cobra HomeSchool is taking a road trip to square off against Van Vleck at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wharton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Rice Consolidated on the 7th.
