Volleyball Recap: Seminole Ridge Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Tyler Warman and Emma Ginther

Seminole Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Legacy Lions.

Seminole Ridge's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Ginther and Tyler Warman. Ginther had 12 digs and three assists, while Warman had 11 assists and nine digs.

Leading Legacy to victory were Kherington Neikirk and Paisley Woods. Neikirk had 11 digs, while Woods had seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Neikirk has posted since back in August. Sophia Spychalla also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Seminole Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Legacy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Seminole Ridge has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Ransom Everglades on the 27th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Boca Raton on the 27th.
