Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

If Madison was riding high fresh off their 68-36 takedown of North Decatur on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Madison Cubs wound up with the same score they had in their last game (68-36), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The game marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for North Decatur, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Madison will be home for the holidays to greet Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Decatur will take on Triton Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
