It's playoff time, and St. Michael the Archangel had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the St. Pius X Lancers on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Guardians as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Their offense was headlined by Jordan Redd and Kinley Gillihan, who picked up 17 kills apiece. They got some help from Addi MacLean and her 43 assists. Finally, Lucy Bokenkroger kept St. Michael the Archangel's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

St. Pius X's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Gass, who had 12 digs and three assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Archer, who had 11 digs and two aces.

St. Michael the Archangel's win bumped their record up to 32-7. As for St. Pius X, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 26-6 record.

As of now, neither St. Michael the Archangel nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
