Palo Verde is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Valley Christian. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

Palo Verde will square off against Arbor View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lake Stevens on the 11th.
