Laurel Highlands took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Lions, too.

Leading Laurel Highlands to victory were Kayden Smith and Luke Martin. Smith posted 19 points, while Martin earned 20 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel Highlands will face off against Chartiers Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greensburg Salem, they will challenge Connellsville at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
