Recap: Yuma Criminals vs. San Luis Sidewinders

The Yuma Criminals put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat San Luis 73-33 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-17.

Andrew Mosqueda was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nick Amador, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 assists.

Yuma pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for San Luis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yuma will square off against Kofa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kofa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. San Luis' road trip will continue as they head out to face Alhambra at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. Alhambra is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
