Firth and Aberdeen are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Firth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.

Firth saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 57-44 to Malad. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Firth's loss came about despite a quality game from Baylie Mecham, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Daisha Sorensen, who earned nine points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Aberdeen took on West Jefferson on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 39-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Having lost for the first time this season, Firth fell to 3-1. As for Aberdeen, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Firth took a serious blow against Aberdeen when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 64-28. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
