Football Game Recap: Petaluma vs. Montgomery

Petaluma had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were able to grind out a solid win over Montgomery, winning 21-7. That result is just more of the same for Petaluma, who also won the last time these teams played.

Petaluma got off to a sluggish start, posting 0 total points in the first half. That left them at a 0-7 disadvantage. In the second half, however, Petaluma's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Petaluma a 1-0 record and starting Montgomery off at 0-1.
